On our first anniversary we have Allie Pepper returning to tell us about her attempt to summit Makalu in the Himalayas.
Allie's goal was to summit Makalu (8,485m) without the use of oxygen and Sherpa's. Her story will get your heart racing and transport you to the top of the Himalayas. Allie also gives her opinion on why Everest had such a sad season with many deaths. She talks about some changes that could be made, especially for inexperienced climbers choosing the right tour company and Sherpa's.
