Humility, humility, humility. | PadreCast Thirtieth Sunday, Ordinary Time

2019-10-27
A good way to look at humility is as voluntary poverty.... The one who will be exalted is the one who humbles himself.

Poverty, in a scriptural sense, is a kind of emptying of oneself. Choosing to be little, to be less, to be small.

If we don't think voluntary poverty is good, we will not seek it. If we do not admire it in our Savior, we will never attain it for ourselves.
