Episode 119: Dan Hatman of the Scouting Academy

In Part IV, the final part of our Summer Seminar Series on the running game, Matt welcomes Dan Hatman of the Scouting Academy to the show. The two examine the traits of the running back position in great detail. They examine the notion of "idealism" at the position and the standards we implicitly use as part of our evaluation process. The two also investigate the impact of the "committee" structure of the running back position on the evaluation process. In addition, they examine the difference between evaluating change of direction versus lateral agility.
