Single Moms Planet was founded by model, tv personality, and television producer Neferteri Plessy. Neferteri felt firsthand the unique challenges that face single mothers looking to climb the corporate ladder, as she was raised by a working single mother. Neferteri began to research the effects of divorce and single motherhood, and through her studies, she learned that the most disadvantaged group in the U.S. are single mother families which according to the U.S. Census 30%  live under the poverty line.  https://singlemomsplanet.org/
