European Parliament to Vote on Copyright in the Single Digital Market - Clune

The European Parliament will decide today if it will back a new directive on copyright for material uploaded on the internet.

Artists have been looking to ensure they receive payment for their creative work shared on internet platforms.

However, those opposed to the new rules, believe they could impact on other areas of online activity, including the use of memes and background music in videos.
