Episode # 858 - The Season Of Lent Continues

Everyone arrives just as the show starts on this first Monday of Lent and with that going on, so much is going on for Lent at St. Stanislaus Kostka, but Father Anthony can't predict who will be coming through the doors of the Church, but he welcomes them all with open arms and heart.  Producer Nick shares that he is going by what was shared on last weeks show on Friday, which is the 6 things for a happy life from what he did over the weekend.  Father Anthony also shares thanks for all who came out yesterday for the Polish Dinner for St Stans and had a great turn out, with people who listen on the radio to the show, as well as those who go to St Stans and Mass, with good food too and everyone shares what happened at the dinner.  Later in the show, Father Anthony shares with us, especially Producer Nick, explains the origin of the word breakfast and it's relation to Lent as well, which means "breaking the fast" and as you can see, the similarities, which leads to many laughs today.  Also with Lent in mind, Father Anthony talks about the kids at the St Stans school with this, and brings him to a sad subject on the funeral on Friday last week, with the people who attend as well as beliefs along these lines and questions brought up in the world we live in today.  Father Anthony wraps up the show by talking about the three pillars of Lent during this period for all.
