Jesus, the Lamb of God

From the beginning, God had a plan to redeem humanity. Throughout the Old Testament, lambs were offered as sacrifices for the sins of the people. These sacrifices pointed to something greater—the coming of Jesus Christ, the perfect Lamb of God.

When John the Baptist saw Jesus, he didn’t just see a teacher or a prophet; he saw the fulfillment of God's promise—the Lamb who would take away the sin of the world. Jesus willingly laid down His life, taking our place, bearing our sins, and offering us the gift of salvation. Through His sacrifice, we are forgiven, redeemed, and restored to a relationship with God.
