Mid-Session 3 Jun 20: Local shares extend gains as investors dissect growth data

The Australian sharemarket is extending its winning streak to three days, with the ASX 200 up 1 per cent to 5,895.3 at lunch. This takes the improvements to 2.4 per cent so far this week, keeps the index on track for its sixth straight weekly lift and within striking distance of a three-month high.
