Widow Threatened with Eviction for Bible Study

Pacific Justice Institute represents an 84-year-old widow, living in a California Veterans Home in
Yountville. Artic Breau has led voluntary Bible studies for 9 years and even served as a
volunteer chaplain at the Veterans’ home. But now, she is being threatened with eviction and
sanctions, for elder abuse and emotional abuse, simply because of her discussion with a fellow
resident about heaven and hell, and his eternal future. Her Bible studies are now deemed to be
offensive - even though the California Department of Veterans Affairs has not even interviewed
Mrs. Breau. Pacific Justice Institute is outraged at the treatment of this brave woman. Please
