Withdrawal agreement not worth paying the price for – Dodds

The DUP MEP Diane Dodds told the European Parliament this morning that Theresa May’s Withdrawal Agreement would see Northern Ireland leave the EU on different terms to the rest of the UK under the backstop.

The Northern Ireland MEP was speaking during a debate on Brexit.

Earlier, the President of the European Council appealed to MEPs not to resist UK participation in the EU elections if that ultimately was to happen.
