As we've been discussing preparations for, we finally got to Michigan for the funeral. Regardless of over-planning everything, Murphy's Law takes over when it can. From difficulties with overnight flights and hotels that weren't really ready to be open yet, to all the responsibilities that we *tried* to leave behind, to Jess' caffeine addiction and driving past the graveyard, nothing can ever be easy... Except maybe Jess' conservative family?
