Flanagan addresses EU Parliament from Dublin

Luke Ming Flanagan has become the first Irish MEP to speak remotely in the European Parliament.

 

This week’s plenary session is being held online due to a worrying rise in COVID cases in Brussels.

 

New technology has been rolled out to enable MEPs speak from the European Parliament’s liaison offices in each member state.

 

From Dublin, Luke Ming Flanagan addressed the Parliament during a debate on CAP reform.
