This is the first Rage album on the list so far.  I have a feeling that there will be several others before this list is through.  Why did I choose this one?  Because I think this one's underrated.  It deserves some more attention.

As far as the Otis Redding album goes, the album title describes the sound pretty much perfectly.  Very cool stuff.  I would listen to this outside this project.  Check it out if you can spare a fuck or two.
