Butch Phelps, B.S., L.M.T., is the founder of The Muscle Repair Shop and creator of the Stretch n’ Release Technique, a revolutionary approach to restoring movement and relieving chronic pain by reconnecting the mind, body, and muscles. Based in Sarasota, Florida, Butch is a functional muscle therapist, certified health coach, and movement educator whose philosophy goes beyond traditional massage or stretching. His method emphasizes that muscles “listen” to emotional and neurological cues, meaning lasting relief requires both physical and mental release.
