This an experiment in becoming your future self through something called a Quantum Date.
The original idea (from Gala Darling) is simple: once a month, you and a friend meet up as your best/future selves. You dress the part, go somewhere a little elevated, and talk about your goals as if they’re already in motion. The container is powerful, but I realized I got stuck in perfectionism and planning instead of presence.
So in this episode, I share a raw, unfiltered voice memo I sent while driving, reflecting on what these dates can really mean. We talk about:
The difference between showing up and actually embodying your future self
How micro-steps during the month (like making your car feel like a “merriment mobile”) create momentum
Why preparation is just as important as the date itself
How these moments ripple out, helping you close the gap between who you are today and who you want to be
It’s less about getting the details “right” and more about practicing being your truest, most joyful self in everyday life.
(Note: In this episode I reference the Merriment Makers promo, which has since transformed into the Merriment Makers Vault—now available for just $37/month.)
