In this episode, we discuss a topic that is commonly misunderstood, but one that every single one of us will (unfortunately) experience at least once in our lives; Grief. The more we love people, pets, relationships, jobs, etc., the more the idea and experience of losing them can be devastating, and today I want you to know that you're not alone, there are ways to manage it, and you can....dare I say heal in the process; we will dive into these emotions together. Grief can be so difficult to talk about, to define, and to express, so I've decided to break this topic into 3 parts, and this is the 1st of 3. We will define what grief is, how it differs from bereavement, how we've been taught to manage it, and how to lift ourselves up and choose Joy Over Fear even when people tell us to "move on, get over it, etc.".
