There’s one thing that Hollywood studios and scriptwriters have had difficulty translating to the big screen – movies based on games.

Unlike from duds like “Battleship” to “Super Mario Bros,” few films were able to make the jump to being a cult classic, for all the right reasons, like the 1985 adaptation of the board game “Clue” led by an all-star cast including Christopher Lloyd, Martin Mull, Eileen Brennan, and Tim Curry.
