• This week we pick apart somewhat of a controversial topic in the dog training industry - sedative / anti-depressant medicines and their possible overuse.
• Unfortunately we have noticed an uptick in clients who have been advised (by some trainers and/or vets) very quickly to medicate their dogs without first trying any behavioural interventions.
• Why are some trainers and/or vets going about things in this way? And in what scenarios are behavioural medications actually a good decision?
