Difficult people and challenging circumstances are opportunities for growth and a deeper relationship with God. Before you go to heaven, you learn how to be heavenly. “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them” (Romans 8:28 NLT).
I heard about a man and a woman who divorced their mates to marry one another because God wants them to be “happy.” God doesn’t care about your happiness. He cares about your devotion.
When people mistreat you or life's storms seem overwhelming, trust God to shape you into something greater than you could imagine. Isaiah 54:1 says to sing during times of barrenness, because your time of fruitfulness is coming.
