In the case of Desmond Doss played beautifully by Ander Garfield in the Mel Gidson directed Hacksaw Ridge. Doss just wants to save one more. In this film we get the true story of a true American hero. and some of his incredible feats during WWII and his time in the army as a conscientious objector.
