291 The Death of Caylee Anthony & The Trial of Casey Anthony

This case was dubbed the "Social Media Trial of the Century" as it was the first major case of the "Social Media Age" . Myspace was still a big thing and Facebook was just getting off the ground which lent for the perfect breeding ground for the 6,000 pages of evidence to go viral on this case. It also helped that the suspect here was a young lady who women hated and men thought was "hot".  We're talking about the death of 2 year old Caylee Anthony and the trial of her mother, Casey Anthony, who stood accused of MURDERING her. The prosecution by ALL ACCOUNTS had a slam dunk case here to convict Casey, but a few fumbles lead to Casey being acquitted in the most shocking verdict since OJ Simpso
