Back in 1960 at Guruprasad in Pune, Meher Baba once said of His own experience, “The same theater, the same show, the same actors, twenty-four hours a day eternally, and I have to not only stay awake, but smile and clap.” Given that He is there watching us every moment, personally, I thought we could entertain Him. Do you have a poem you especially like that touches you, a song you would like to offer, an exchange with one of the mandali that was life-changing or meaningful, a meeting with Baba, a joke that He would like, a touching experience of Baba from your own life, even a dream, a Sufi story that speaks to you, a drawing or painting? Bring it with you to Sunday’s late night chat. Rummage through your closets and cabinets for something colorful to share!
