Cook at the Nook is the Training Kitchen run by CFINE. On Wednesday, Rob went along to find out more about the great work that goes on there.
It was instructional and relaxed with plenty of time given for participants to work at, practice cooking skills, get instruction as needed. Rob was made welcome by Sean McVeigh and certainly by Susan, adventurous Liz and by Shona and her carer Carolyn. The sugarfree cake was yum any my colleagues enjoyed it. It was very clear that the session was being enjoyed.
The ethos is simple cooking and using what you can even what you think you can't like potato peelings to make snacks.
