US Close 7 Mar 17: US markets lower rate hike on the cards in the US, RBA in focus in Australia

US sharemarkets fell on Monday. Investors assessed the latest changes and announcements from the new Trump administration. President Trump signed a revised executive order on Monday for a 90-day travel ban to the United States from six Muslim-majority countries. At the close of trade, the Dow Jones index was lower by 51 points or 0.2%. The S&P 500 index was down by 0.3% while the Nasdaq was lower by almost 22 points or 0.4%.
