Mic Checka with Darryl Frierson was honored to have Advanced Sommelier Wanda Cole-Nicholson as his special guest. They talk about how she went from being a waitress in Chicago to becoming an Advanced Sommelier. Wanda explains how much detail goes into being a sommelier and how much you really must love every aspect of wine. They talk about if Sommeliers would be able to do a blind tasting of E-40’s Earl Stevens brand. She illuminates that even though life has thrown her some hooks in her journey to be a Master Sommelier that she believes very soon we will see the first black woman Master Sommelier.
