Father, We love your nearness! We need it and we praise You for it! Thank You for the privilege of being Your kids and for wanting to listen to us. Your heart is so kind! God, we have walked in foolishness at times, and we repent. We have been hasty and short-tempered, we have sought out the ways that seem right in our eyes, and we confess that we have missed the way. God, we have walked in foolishness at times, and we repent. We have been hasty and short-tempered, we have sought out the ways that seem right in our eyes, and we confess that we have missed the way. Have mercy on me, a sinner. We turn FROM our sins TO You and ask You to make our hearts clean.

God, we have no one to ask for wisdom except You. You are the only source. So we ask You for it. Would You grow us wisdom and draw us even nearer to You today? Grow us in patience. Help us to measure our actions and weigh our words before we move and speak. We want to honor You.

We surrender our lives to You, Lord—every moment of our day, each decision we make, we yield our will and way to Your perfect will and way.

We love You too. Amen.
