What Is Pentecost?

The subject of Pentecost or the Holy Spirit can often be a divisive subject, which is ironic, because one of the functions of the Holy Spirit is to bring unity. On this episode, Pastor Randy tackles some misconceptions, dispels some fears, and gives us permission to ask questions.

 

The message is what he calls "a fly over". You'll find helpful information but it isn't exhaustive. We encourage you to "ask, seek, and knock" (Luke 11:9-13) for yourself. The Holy Spirit desperately wants to have an intimate relationship with you today.

1. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is not salvation, it is a different experience subsequent to salvation.

3. Jesus commanded the disciples to wait for the Hoy Spirit. 
4. The Holy Spirit brings power to be a witness.
