LAKE LIFE WKND 050 with a Christmas Special. We invited Missy Hermes of the Otter Tail County Historical Society to speak about Christmas traditions in our area. She tells us about stories from as early as 1871 which were collected from early settles coming to the area. With the Advent season leading towards this years Christmas celebration we thought we take a moment to hear about traditions from Swedish, German, and Finnish settlers. This time of the year allows us to slow down, lean back, and reconcile.
