Dr. Carl Dickens, a Boston-based hospital intern, whose life takes a strange turn when he crosses paths with a sinister figure calling himself “Charon.” Charon operates out of a shadowy tattoo parlour and keeps a talking mynah bird that ominously chirps the show’s tagline: “It is later than you think!”.
