In this episode the TDP crew talk about becoming disinterested. What determines people’s preferences is a hard-to-pin-down process. Sometimes, people just prefer the familiar, and over time the familiar becomes a little less interesting and exciting. Sometimes people like what their friends like. Sometimes they pretend to like movies they never really watch or music they don’t actually listen to. A lot of the time, they can’t say why they like something, they just kinda do. But what happens when you start to lose interest in the things you were once passionate about?
