Ep 12: Functional Language, Happiness, & Acceptance

On this episode we are joined by the beautiful Simone Peixoto, a new Momma (yay!) and Speech Language Pathologist who works with students transitioning from high school to adult hood. Simone brings such a wonderful perspective to our SLP community and in this episode you'll be sure to learn more about how she targets language goals, social skills, and life skills with her students with the ultimate goal of them feeling happy and accepted in society. We will, of course, go into one of my favorite topics: collaboration, and how that looks in Simone's specific environment.
