Feasts of the Old Testament (9) - The Day of Atonement

4/28/21 - After Aaron had made atonement for his sins, the two goats were to be brought before God. One was slain for the appeasement of God's wrath, and the other released into the wilderness bearing the sins of the people. We see Christ our Savior, both bearing our transgressions to the cross, and giving His life that our sins could be eternally removed from us.

God provided many prophecies, types and shadows in the Old Testament of the future work His son Christ Jesus. Some of which are hidden in the feasts and ceremonies given unto Israel. We pray the Lord Jesus be clearly seen as we study through seven of the Old Testament feasts. How marvelous it is to see our Savior pictured so clearly hundreds of years before His advent!
