Many Wives and Mothers Feel Worn Out and Tired; They Need Encouragement

MESSAGE SUMMARY: Wives and mothers need your respect and support as we are told in the Wisdom of Proverbs 31:10-12: “An excellent wife who can find? She is far more precious than jewels. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he will have no lack of gain. She does him good, and not harm, all the days of her life.". Many, many moms feel worn out, wrung out, and tired. They need encouragement -- someone to tell them how great they are doing despite the various impediments they face. Paul says in 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17: “Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word.". After all, God ordained this special relationship for wives, husbands, and mothers as confirmed by Jesus in Matthew 19:5b: “Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”.

 

TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Anxiety. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Peace. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f).
