How Much Longer Are We Going To Learn This?? Thursday Teacher Talk Lesson Activities and Time Requirements

Intro 

On Thursday Teacher Talk I am hoping to help you with your lesson plans the difference here is that in classroom settings we have to think about the amount of time we have to teach this one subject or topic so we as classroom teachers must focus on timed activities you however don't you can go on trips and work with or without the resources.

   Strategies 

   a plan of action or policy designed to achieve a major or overall aim; a comprehensive or far-reaching plan of action. Has not been proven 

   Techniques  

   A way of carrying out a particular task, especially the execution or performance of an artistic work or a scientific procedure. 

   a skillful or efficient way of doing or achieving something. 

2. There are different ways of teaching and presenting lessons:

   • Teacher Centered 
     • Teacher decides work  
     • Teacher decides what is learned 
   • Student Centered 
     • Student decides work  
     • Student decides what is learned 
   • Both  
     • Together decide work 
     • Together decide what is learned 
3. There are different ways to approach lesson planning and you can use more than one in a lesson!
   1. Inquiry Based 
   2. Lecture Based  
   3. Project Based  
   4. Discussion Based 
   5. Experimental 
   6. Problem solving 
   7. Simulation 
   8. Acting 
   9. Experiential
