You Are Worth Dying For

During Holy Week, the liturgies are centered around God's love for us. Holy Thursday commemorates the first Mass and the institution of the Eucharist. Good Friday commemorates Christ's death on the cross. And, of course, the Easter Vigil and the liturgies of Easter Sunday celebrate the resurrection. Each of these make visible in signs and symbols the great love that God has for us, and they reminds us of the fundamental truth: each of us is worth dying for.
