Last week Jesus chose Peter to be the one to build His church on; this week we find out that Peter is a bust because he resisted sacrifice. Fr. Mark explains the harmful consequences when we don’t habitually think with the mind of God in terms of sacrifice. He encourages us to look for opportunities to daily deny ourselves so we don’t become a bust.
