Episode 143: Success story Gene Angus

On this episode of The Ty Brady Way Podcast, Ty is joined by Gene Angus to share his success story! Gene provides us with an insight into how he got into the insurance industry and how while he was running an online e-commerce store that sold car parts globally, his neighbour introduced him to Medicare and ignited a desire within him to explore the industry further. Gene also speaks about how his success with Medicare really took off when he decided to give the industry 100% of his attention and moved to an area with fewer agents. Ty and Gene speak about how flow of business really comes in waves and can peak and drop off throughout the year but Gene shares how he was able to complete 1/3 of his business for the year during a peak point. Gene shares how he managed to scale his business and shares his best tips and advice for new agents – work hard and be willing to do whatever it takes and you will reap the rewards!
