In a church threatened by false teaching, Paul urged Timothy to stand firm and fulfill his calling—not just as a pastor, but as a servant of Christ. But what makes a faithful servant of Jesus? Though these words were written to Timothy in his pastoral role, their principles apply to every follower of Christ.

Big Idea: A good servant of Christ feeds on good doctrine and trains in godly discipline because of hope in a glorious Deliverer.
