US Close 19 Jan 17: Quiet day of trade: Dow Jones off 22 points or 0.1%.

US sharemarkets were mixed in choppy trade on Wednesday. Gains in tech stocks were offset by weakness in retail and healthcare stocks. Shares in Goldman Sachs fell by 0.6% after releasing earnings results. At the close, the Dow Jones index was lower by 22 points
