The European Parliament will today vote on the new distribution of seats in the wake of Brexit.
Ireland will gain two seats in the shake up, however Northern Ireland will lose its representation at the Parliament.
Overall the number of MEPs will be reduced from 751 to 705.
46 of the UKs 73 seats are being put in a reserve, while the other 27 would be distributed among the 14 EU countries currently under-represented in the House.
