Episode # 1576 - Prolonging The Spirit Of Christmas

Father Thomas Koys is here and Tony is back with him, so, as the “Peabody” intro says, Father Koys goes very far into history today, with going back to around 3 BC or somewhere around there, but more specifically talking about Christmas since it’s going to be next weekend.  With this very historical time and event, Father Koys shares some very significant facts from way back when for Christmas.  This leads to talking about traditions that have come from, say later centuries with history and Christmas.  The subject of calenders are brought up here too, as well as time itself being put into not only college kids Father Koys says, but with everyone.  Father Koys also shares a recent article stating how the Spirit Of Christmas can be prolonged, even when the holiday is over.  With Christmas on the brain, and “wrinkling brains” today, Father Koys pushes his book too: The Ashes That Still Remain.  As the show goes on, Father Koys changes the subject a bit talking about marriage, divorce, and annulments again.
