Ron Pierce (Ph.D., Fuller Theological Seminary) has taught in the undergraduate division of the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University since 1976. He has been a passionate advocate for biblical gender equality since the 1980s. Ron has authored numerous journal articles, edited Discovering Biblical Equality (2005), and written Partners in Marriage & Ministry (2011). He believes that men and women should mutually share leadership in the church, home and society without gender bias or restriction. Ron and his wife Pat have been married since 1969, and have two adult children and four grandchildren. They live in Fullerton, California and serve as active members of Whittier Area Community Church.
