Market Close 14 Dec 22: ASX 200 lifts for 2nd straight day

The market rose by around two-thirds of one per cent today, and finished near session highs. Buying sentiment was supported by a rally in Wall Street stocks overnight, and an increase in the price of commodities like oil and gold. Looking ahead, some things that could drive volatility tomorrow include the US Fed’s rate hike decision, and Aussie unemployment data.
