Dr. Vanessa Rowan, Founder of Learning Biology with Dr. Vanessa. Ever since she was little, she have had a love for science and a fascination with how the body works. As she grew older, she began to work in labs and do research. She loved discovering new things! After she received my PhD in 2009, she began teaching Anatomy and Physiology, among other classes, at the University level.

The classes she taught were difficult and she enjoyed being able to take those difficult subjects and make them easier to understand. She have found a passion for teaching and increasing health literacy. The one thing we must understand is that even though not everyone will go into the medical field, there are instances in which you must be able to advocate for yourself or a loved one. The more you know about your body and how it works, the better you can understand and form those decisions.
