Morning Report 8 Oct 21: Stocks advance after politicians reach debt ceiling agreement, for now.

US and European shares advanced overnight helped by confirmation that US politicians had agreed to extend the debt ceiling limit until December, avoiding a potential debt default by the US Government. The Dow rose 1%; the S&P 500 gained 0.8% and the Nasdaq jumped 1.1%
