Jeremiah 37:1-3, 6-16 Sometimes godly men are betrayed and mistreated, and there is no reason besides they were speaking God's truth in love.

Romans 5:1-8 Although we have often betrayed Jesus, he will never stop giving us his grace! While we were still sinners, Christ died for us!

John 13:21-30 (sermon verses) Jesus knew that Judas would betray him. That didn't make it less painful. Yet Jesus still responded with one thing: eternal love.
