Episode 20 - The Fontainebleau Blues
Drink of the Day - The Aqua Velva - a cocktail from the 80s (exact origins unclear) made infamous in the 2007 film Zodiak and named for the disappointing and cheap aftershave that claimed to be so, so classy (similar to the Blue Lagoon)
John’s version (less sweet)
Ingredients
- 1 oz Gin
- 1 oz Vodka
- 3/4 oz Blue Curacao
- Top with club soda and simple syrup to taste
- Squeeze in a lime or lemon wedge, then drop the wedge in
Build and drink in a highball glass, no umbrella needed
