The story of Peter walking on the water and beginning to sink is so powerful because at some point it is a portrait of every one of us in our Christian walk. One moment, Peter’s faith rose to greatness, and the next it sank to littleness. Our faith is much the same. It is a mix of confident assurance in God and doubt. Let’s look at the Testimony of Little Faith so that we might see its faults and its foolishness so that no matter how little or weak our faith may be at times, we may be helped, strengthened and encouraged.
