The Spirt of Revival in Our Heart

Pastor Bryan Shaffer preached this morning from Colossians chapter 3. He spoke about the spirit of revival in our hearts and how that carries over into the church. 

 

1}A Positive disposition. Realize your position, you are chosen vs12

2}A Performance of Duty. Showing others grace, forbearing one another vs13

3}A Personal Development. Allowing God to work on you, be in the Word, Abide in Him vs15

 

Colossians 3:12-13 & 15

12 "Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;" 

13 "Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye."

15 "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful."
