Mid-Session 4 Feb 22: Market treading water

The Australian sharemarket is largely flat after a choppy few hours of trade on Friday. Wall Street provided a challenging lead overnight, with one of the S&P500's worst declines in close to a year. Energy and tech stocks are higher locally.
